Introduction

Industrial Training Institute Faridkot is situated on a Sprawling 20 acres campus was setup in 1962 by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment Department. The Institute has excellent training infrastructure including modern labs and well equipped workshop with new technology trainer kits, machineries, training hardware and software, seminars, lecture hall and well stocked library with two blocks of hostel, staff colony and Principal residence, it has excellent team of highly qualified faculty.

Mission

Emphasis on skills development by providing latest technologies input in multi discipliner area to meet the challenges as per demand of new technologies. Networking of institution for optical resources utilization. Promoting industry institute interactions for developing efficient, skilled and suitable men power with collaboration of local institute management committee (IMC) has been formed to interactive with institution known requirement.

History

Industrial Training Institute, Faridkot is situated at Talwandi Bhai Road, outside the City. It is setup in year of 1962 the intake capacity of 80 now at present capacity of 387. It has a big Campus comprising 20 Acres of land and One Block of Theory Rooms, Office, One Workshop, One Auto Workshop, Two Blocks of Hostel, . It is situated on Faridkot-Amritsar GT Road.
