Government Industrial Training Institute Malerkotla has a rich and illustrious history dating back to its establishment by the State Government in 1989. Situated in the picturesque village of Bir Ahmedabad, in the district of Malerkotla, the institute was founded with a noble aim to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in various industrial sectors and provide training facilities for Muslim minority youth of district Malerkotla. In its early years, ITI Malerkotla started with humble beginnings, offering limited courses and facilities. Initially, it started with a total of 216 seats in 14 Units. However, with a strong commitment to excellence and a dedicated faculty, the institute quickly gained recognition for its quality training programs. As word spread about the institutes reputation for producing highly skilled graduates, enrollment numbers surged, and ITI Malerkotla became a preferred destination for aspiring technicians and craftsmen in the region.
