Introduction

Govt. Institute of Textile Chemistry & Knitting Technology Industrial Training Institute Old Fort Ludhiana was established on February 2011 with six trades in Engineering ,Non-Engineering. In accordance with the policy of promoting Public-Private Partnership, Institute Management Committees IMC was constituted in ITI in the year 2010.

History

Govt. Institute of Textile Chemistry & Knitting Technology Industrial Training Institute Old Fort Ludhiana was established on February 2011 in the 500-year-old Lodhi Fort, constructed by Muslim ruler Sikander Lodhi on a strategic location along the banks of the Sutlej in the city.
