Introduction

HASTA SHILPA INDUSTRIAL TRAINING CENTRE running in the lap of the city BATALA near TAJ PALACE KAHNUWAN ROAD.It is 2.5km away from BATALA bus stand.Institute situated in the serene and pollution free enviorment.A truly soothing atmospere for the mind and soul and ideal ambience for providing professional education.It is surrounding by lots of villages where a lot of children after matriculation examination get technical education in different trades of engineering.There are different streams of technical education running in this institute like A C T. C T I., ELECTRICIAN, WELDER, PLUMBER, COPA, SEWING. TECHNOLOGY, S.O.T.E

History

HASTA SHILPA INDUSTRIAL TRAINING CENTRE in city BATALA Distt. GURDASPUR is being administered by HASTA SHILPA EDUCATIONAL WELFARE SOCIETY JALANDHAR.It started with 80 students under ART & CRAFT TEACHER TRAINING COURSE.That time we had 2 units (A C T).After 1 year we increased 4 units in same trade (160 seats).In 2003 we added one more course CUTTING SEWING & EMB TEACHER TRAINING COURSE with 1 unit (40 seats).In 2004 we increased 2 more units (80 seats)in A.C.T.In 2005 we also added more unit (40 seats) in C.T.I. The society also started B.A./D.C.A./P.G.D.C.A. classes under the affiliation of ( GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY) in 2007. In sep 2011 we started the ELECTRICIAN AND WELDER COURSES under by NCVT. In 2016 we started COPA, PLUMBER, SEW. TECH., S.O.T.E. In the mean time our society is also running the (CTTC and H/N courses.

Objective

To provide job oriented and technical training to the youth.To uplift this rural area in technical education. To promote self employment among students.
To give the practical as well as theoretical training according to syllabus.To provide self employment guidance to the trainees.
