Introduction

This Institute is situated at Patiala-Zirkpur Road, Near Barrier,Opposite side the Petrol-Pump. This Institute was setup in 1962 by Deptt. Of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Govt. of Punjab and has 11.25 acre campus area which includes Administrative block, workshops & Sports Grounds.The institute is well equipped with trained & highly qualified faculty & support staff, who ensure to impart quality education.

The mission of the institute is to provide excellent training infrastructure and good environment to the trainees so that our trainees be an intelligent and royal persons and instructors. The main mission of institute is to place many more passouttrainees in different industries and departments.

History

ITI Banur was started in 1962 under the aegis of 1 Irectorate of Technical Education and Industrial Training with the conventional courses of Cutting and sewing, Embroidery and Needle Work, Mechanic Tractor, Turner, Electrician and Two trades Office Assistant cum Computer Operator and Fitter are running under PPP.
