Introduction

Govt I.T.I NABHA was established in the year 1952. It has total area 17.2 Acre and covered area 72717.3 sq.ft. It is located on Dhuri Road, near railway crossing Nabha very convenient to arrive by bus nearest bus stop Patiala to Nabha, by train Patiala to nabha and by airways nearest airport Chandigarh. The major MNC are located nearby this ITI e.g. Glaxo smithkline consumer health care Ltd. Pepsico India Holdings Pvt. Ltd, Hindustan Unilever, Indian Oil Corporation Gas Filling Station and many more small and medium scale industries are surrounded this ITI. Our trainees have been placed in the above mentioned MNC, recently this ITI has been upgraded into Centre of Excellence under the VTIP and the Government has been allocated us 3 crore and 50 lakhs for the up-gradation program, 9 labs have been established with proper Infrastrucrue, equipment/machinaries are avaible for the training for Food Processing.In this ITI we are running the job oriented short term MES courses for the employees and workers, scholarships and free training facilities are provided to the trainees specially those who belong to schedule castes and scheduled tribes. Library and Computers are available. We are committed to provide quality training to the candidates gets admission every year.

In the year 2008 this ITI has been updraded into Centre of Excellence for the sector FOOD PROCESSING the old building has been rejuvenated under this upgradation scheme and set up 9 labs new and class rooms with computer lab, Conference Hall. In Administration Hall there is Principal room, Staff room, NCC room and Dispensary. Under crafts schemes we have fifteen workshops for all Technical trades and five theory roms For sports activity we have three grounds for different games and cultural activities.
