Craftsman Traning Scheme was Introduced by Govt. of India in 1950 to ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different tardes for industry, to raise quantitatively and quantitatively the industrial producation by systemmatic traning to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by providing them employable tarning, to cultivate and nurture a technical and Industrial.

This institute has running from 1963 as a RATC ( Rural Articitan training center) under industry department. Nomiculture changed of the Rural Artision
Traning center converted in upgradation Industrial Training Institute under the department of Technical Education and Industrial Training Department
