The Industrial Training Institute for women (ITI), Jalandhar has thus been established with the core aim of economically developing and empowering women of all sections of the society by equipping them with various skills. With this aim the training in this Institute is provided free of cost for S/C category so that they could acquire the skill for job & self employment easily.

The Industrial Training Institute for women (ITI), Jalandhar was established in 1972 following the order of Department of Technical Education & Industrial Training.The campus area of institute is 3 Acres approx. The institute is situated in the high locality, Lajpat Nagar near Guru Nanak Mission Chowk Jalandhar
