Introduction

This institute is purely Government institute only for women and runs under the directions of Director Technical Education and Industrial Training Punjab, Chandigarh. NCVT and SCVT courses are running in this institute which are too much helpful for trainees to create good future. SDI courses also are running part time free of cost with the help of Government to keeping view the interest and need of the trainees.

History

Government Industrial Training Institute for Women Jandiala Guru was established in 1961 at village Jandiala Guru 15 KM far away from holy city Amritsar on road Amritsar-Jalandhar highway with the help of Government and demand of area people. Now this institute has transferred from Jandiala Guru to village Bundala 5 KM far away from Jandiala Guru on road Jandiala Guru-Tarn Taran.
