Introduction

Govt Industrial Training Institute Kotkapura (w) is one of the Govt ITIs operating in the state of Punjab under technical Education Department. This ITI was established in1975 with primary function to impart the technical training to girls in various vocational trades approved by NCVT from 1975 to til now . This Institute was operating in a rental building. This Institute is located in Jhamman Bazzar Old Grain Market Kotkapura

Mission

-It is proposed to construct a building for the permanent occupation of the institution. - In addition to the exiting trades it is proposed to introduce new trades namely - COPA - Fashion Technology - Hair and Skin Care - IT and ESM

Govt Industrial Training institute (Women) Kotkapura, under the director Teach education Industrial Training Punjab was initially set up in the year 1975.

Objective

To reduce unemployment among the educated.
Youth by providing them employable training.
To ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for the domestic industry.
