Introduction

Govt Industrial Teachers Training Institute W Patiala has 8 trades out of which 6 trades are NCVT as Sewing Technology, Surface Ornamentation Techniques, Basic Cosmetology, COPA, ICTSM, Fashion Design Technology ,two trades are SCVT as Punjabi Steno, Cutting and Sewing Teacher Training .Two trases Copa with 2 units and sewing technology with one unit are running under welfare scheme SCVT

History

Govt Industrial Teachers Training Institute W Patiala was established in 1954.It has total 3597 sq. m. land area. It is located in Chotti Baradari, Near Bhasha Bhawan in the centre of the Royal city Patiala. It has 12 labs and theory rooms for different trades,One regular Principal,one supdtt,one senior asstt and two clerks arein ministerial office, 6 regular instructor ,5 PPP instructors ,2 welfare instructors 4 regular class 4th and 2 class 4th under PPP.

Objective

To be a world class training institution in the area of skill development and all new technology development programs as per requirement of industries.
The objective of the institution is to place trainees of institution in the world class industries. So,the trainees can display their talent and skill in those industries.
