Introduction
Industrial Training Institute (w),Rajpura, is a Punjab Govt. institute to provide technical training to women for the purpose of employment in industry as skilled or semiskilled worker running under DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION PUNJAB,CHANDIGARH. To improve the employment outcomes of I.T.I graduates from the vocational training system, by making design and delivery of training more demand responsive.

History
This Institute is situated at Neelpur near B.S.N.L Regional Telephone Training Centre (R.T.T.C). This Institute set-up under the World Bank Scheme for Women in 1992.
The Institute has 3 acre (approx.) Campus Area which include Built-up Area for Administration Workshops Canteen etc. Now this Institute has been upgraded through Up-gradation of 1396 Govt. ITIs under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Scheme of Government of India. For this purpose the Funds (Rs 2.5crore) already transferred to this Institute from Government of India.
