Introduction

The Rupnagar city has many religions and historical places like gurduwara Bhata Sahib, gurduwara Head Darbar, Maharaja Ranjit Singh park very important historical places has been situated in this district that is Anandpur Sahib, Kiratpur Sahib and Chamkaur Sahib etc. the historical treaty between maharaja Ranjit Singh and Lord William Benting was signed a beautiful place of Rupnagar situated at banks of satluj river. indus civilization and Museum is also situated in the beautiful city. Govt. I.T.I., Rupnagar was established in the year1963-64. Since 63-64 more than 20,000 students have passed out from this Institute after acquiring skill training in various areas.Govt. Mission
