Introduction

This institute 01 KM away from bus stand Samrala on the Chandigarh-Ludhiana Highway . The area of buiding is 2 acres.It has 05 theory rooms & 05 workshops . The 5 trades are running successfully.The running trades are 1.Cutting & Sewing, 2. Emb. & Needle Work, 3.Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, 4. Fashion Design & Technology, 5. Basic Cosmetology.

The Institue main mission is to provide Quality Technical Training to the women of rural Area. The Institute dedicatedly is working towards attainment of the goal. We are providing Quality Technical Training to the women to make them self relaint.

History

This institute working since 1964 in Samrala City. It Opened with 02 trades 1. Cutting & Tailoring, 2. Emb. & N.Work (06 units). The ITI(W), shifted in Hostel Block of ITI, Samrala in the Year 1986.The total Intake capacity at the time of commencement was 100. With passage of time this institute was covered under PPP Scheme in the year 2008-09 & in the year 2010 new trade of Office Assistant-cum-computer Operator and in the year 2016 new trades of Fashion Design & Technology and Basic Cosmetology was started under PPP Scheme.Institute shifted to its own new building.The total intake capacity raise up to 230. In Coming times, the more new trades will be started according to the demands of area.
