Introduction
A center for Cutting and Tailoring and Embroidery & Needle Work was opened for girls and it proved to be a remarkable step towards self dependence and job opportunity.
Manav Sewa Industrial Training Center being run by Manav Sewa Trust (Regd.) was established in 1999. The institute is approved by Punjab Technical Education Board and National Council of Vocational Training of the Central Govt.

Manav Sewa Industrial Training Center was established by Manav Sewa trust for the upliftment of the society through technical education. We have a mission and a great vision for bright future of the students keeping in view the need of the hour that is self employment through technical education. We strongly believe that technical education is the ladder by which one can attain self-dependence and prosperity in life.
Just as a lighting candle gives light to thousand & thousands of candles similarly a technically qualified person can be a helping hand not only to an individual but to society at large. It has been our sincere effort from the beginning to make Manav Sewa Industrial Training Center a preferred destination for all those who wish to get not only best in teaching but also in moral and cultural values. This institute aims to attain peaks of excellence by preserving these moral values.
History
History goes back to 1989, when the trust was established by some like minded persons, like S. Bhagat Singh, S. Harbans Singh, Prof. Kartar Singh and S. Gurmeet Singh joined hands together for the cause of serving the society. Initially there were no funds & efforts made by S. Bhagat Singh Ji, founder Chairman bore fruits, who by writing religious literature collected donations.
In the beginning, a stitching centre was opened in Gurudwara Kalgidhar Model Town, to make girls self dependent and make their presence felt in society. It is a common saying that the training given to a girl child means education for the whole family. Initially no fees was being charged and response was tremendous.
