Introduction

Sacred Heart Vocational Training Centre (SHVTC) came into existence to provide skills driven training programme for youth.

To empower the disadvantaged and vulnerable youth by developing their skills and enabling them to become better human beings and contribute in the service of God, people and nation building.

History

Under the aegis of Bethany Community Centre and Community College, skill training programme was conducted before we ventured into NCVT affiliated programme. As per the need of the public, the focus was shifted to NCVT, the skill training programme approved by the Government of India which is recognized nationally and internationally as well. Sacred Heart Vocational Training Centre (SHVTC) was established in 2009. It was affiliated to NCVT in October 2009 and at present it offers ITI courses in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Embroidery & Needle Work and Front Office Assistant approved by the Government of India. The first batch of trainees started their training in 2010 and passed out in 2011. SHVTC takes keen interest to prepare skilled trainees. Linkage with various companies and institutions ensures that the trainees and instructors are constantly updated in their knowledge and skills.
