Introduction

Universal College, the premier institute of higher Learning and vocational training was established by Paras Sports and Educational Society (Regd.). The Managing Committee consisting of eminent educationists decided to start an Institute in the rural area of Gurdaspur Distt. Universal College is situated at Lehal, Dhariwal.

Mission

The aim of establishing ITI is to provide technical education in rural as well as urban areas of Punjab. Skilled manpower is need of the hour and we equip student with various technical skills. After giving training in technical courses apart from joining government jobs, we guide students how they can be self employed by starting their own work. Instead of finding jobs for them they can give jobs to others and can help society. High tech teaching methodologies, latest infrastructural facilities and dedicated faculty is provided to enable the student to face the challenges of radically changing competitive world.

History

Universal Technical & Vocational Centre Lehal Dhariwal is established in the year-2004. At present 12 different Trades of ITI are being run in the Institute. These Trades are duly affiliated by NCVT New Delhi. Universal Technical & Vocational Centre Lehal Dhariwal is a Premier Institute and leader in Punjab in providing Placement to ITI pass outs. Different National as well as Multinational Companies like Honda Cars, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Denso Japan, Enercon, Coca Cola etc. has visited our Institute from time to time and has given the jobs to around 5200 Students till Date.
